Mosaic Red Vase- Stained Glass in red, orange and yellow with red Swarovski Crystals, OOAK handcrafted by Mel Fischer
Named "Inner Flame", this vase is very unique and is one of a kind.
This is a rare find that I chose to mosaic. I love the interesting shape of it, like fingers of flames reaching upward. The vase is orange glass and the materials used are shades of orange, yellow and red stained glass with red Swarovski crystals interspersed. The stained glass was hand cut, then ground by hand into flame-like shapes to fit the overall design.
The stained glass used for "Inner Flame" is translucent. Gently slipping a votive candle inside would give this vase a unique use with a spectacular effect. Because the vase itself is orange, the colors of the stained glass take on a deeper orange/red shade when lit from within. (Note: I do not recommend placing a candle directly inside, unless it's battery operated. Instead, use a candle within it's own small holder that fits inside the vase.) This way, the vase can be used either as a vase or as a candle holder.
The vase is approximately 8" high by approximately 4" wide.
For care of this item, simply wipe down gently with a soft cloth, dampened with water only. Do not submerge.
